About John McKay’s Reactor:
PUNK’S ENIGMATIC MAN IN BLACK IS BACK
“The Scream was a milestone in my life and when I performed some of the songs recently, I found many people felt the same way. So I’m bringing it back, played in full, as it approaches its 50th year!
Also opening some of the shows will be a set featuring new songs written for the upcoming Reactor album, past will collide with future, come watch them ignite!”
— JOHN MCKAY
John created a metal shard roar with his guitar which was emulated by many who followed. He was cited as an influence by Johnny Marr of The Smiths, The Edge of U2, Jim Reid of The Jesus and Mary Chain, Geordie Walker of Killing Joke, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth and countless others.
Flanked by two Priscillas, Jen Brown and Jola, with Billy King on bass, they are John McKay’s Reactor.
JEN BROWN
The feline frontwoman for The Priscillas is an Irish-blooded Jersey girl. With her energetic prowling stage presence, she’s the perfect attunement to John’s slashing guitar sound.
JOLA
Drink and drums. She’s one half of the percussion powerhouse behind Adam Ant as well as The Priscillas. A mighty woman of mystery.
BILLY KING
Guitarist/songwriter and seasoned musician with well over a decade of touring the globe under his belt in various bands. Currently recording debut album with SHÖPLIFTER, a rock ’n’ roll power trio.
